All Asians Really Do Look The Same

Uncategorized Add comments

Well, don’t take the title of this entry too literally. Not every single Asian in existance looks just like every single other Asian in existance. My point, however, is that Asians look a hell of a lot more like each other than any other racial category of similar size. Africans, Europeans, Americans, and all the other groups like that have a lot more diversity in the way of physical appearance than Asians.

Now I am not a racist person, so I’ll look past facts such as all Asian women are bad drivers, no Asian men are well-endowed in the baby-maker, and any Asian that didn’t get perfect grades in high school is a weirdo. There are actual reasons that Asians look so alike. One of the most prominent is the hair color. I’ve never seen any Asian with naturally blonde or light brown hair. They just don’t exist. Or if they do exist in some small island in the middle of nowhere, nobody has found them yet. The point is that basically 99.999…% of Asians have a natural hair color of really dark brown and/or black. Whatever you want to call it. Of course, anybody can bleach, die, or deep fry their hair, but the vast majority of Asians have the same hair color, it’s just their genes.

Well Africans all have really dark brown and/or black hair too, right? Well another point supporting the idea that Asians look more alike than any other group is their skin color. Other racial groups, even Africans, tend to vary more in skin color than Asians. This is especially true for Europeans and Americans. Take away all the tanning, make-up, and magical youth skin cream, and everybody else just has more diverse skin color than Asians. Sorry, but it’s true.

The last major point supporting this is the facial structure. You know as well as I do, Asians have more flat faces and stretched eyes. Is there any other racial group that has any facial structure as different as that yet as unified throughout the race as that? No, there isn’t. Sure, black people tend to have bigger lips and wider noses, but those characteristics tend to vary a lot more than the facial structure of Asians.

So face it, Asians, you all look the same…just about.

I think you are wrong… many Asians have similar looks but you have to account for the odd ball Asians… the Japanese. I don’t know if it is the western influence (SEX) or just that they are on an Island, but many Japanese look vary different. Chinese, Korean, and all the rest attached to ASIA on the other hand all look similar.

  2. Fedorpheux Says:

Japanese still have the same hair color, stretched eyes, and all that. I don’t see your point.

  3. SEXYMAG Says:

Japanese do not have the flat face. That enables them to have more distinguished noses, cheeks, and eye areas.

  4. Fedorpheux Says:

Actually, you’re wrong. Japanese, just like Chinese, Koreans, and other various divisions of Asians have quite flat faces compared to non-Asians.
If it makes you feel any better, I just did some quick searching on Google Image Search to compare between Chinese, Korean, and Japanese. Like I said, they all have quite flat faces (as compared to non-Asians).

“stretched eyes” is not a very informed term. i mean yeah, people use it all the time, but that’s not completely what’s going on. for other races, the eye lid typically arcs up a little, levels out strait and then arcs back down the contour of the eye; the bottom lid does basically the same thing, just a bit less defined. in asians, the top eye lid arcs up and levels out, but doesn’t arc back down the eye’s contour as much (if any at all), which forces the bottom lid to be raised a quite a bit more (comparatively). this just gives the illusion of being stretched. regarding how all asians look the same… well maybe to us whities it does, but we’re used to the diversness of ourselves and thus become blind to the differences (no matter how subtle) of asians. after all, i’ve guessed at the race of an asian and they seemed pretty pissed off that i couldn’t tell. so they can obviously tell.

  6. Fedorpheux Says:

As far as the “stretched eyes,” I know that it wasn’t the most accurate term but I’m lazy and I figured you guys could understand what I meant.

As far as your other thing, that’s exactly my point. Most people think that we think they look the same just because we’re white and we don’t know Asians well enough, but the point of this entry was to attempt to remove most of any bias and just look at the facts (such as hair color, facial features, etc). I know that Asians do have diversity and they can determine it better than the average non-Asian, but that’s just because they’re used to it. My point is that they still look more alike each other than any other comparable ethnic group.

    ahh…

  8. v0id Says:

I take it by asians you’re talking about oriental asians, as those of middle eastern orientation have varied looks and features

  9. Fedorpheux Says:

Yeah, that’s right. I was just trying to avoid using the word “oriental” as apparently it’s like “nigger” in that they can call each other that and it’s fine, but if we (people who are not of their ethnicity) call them that, it is officially offensive.

But anyways, yeah. I didn’t really mean every last group in the continent of Asia, I just mean mostly Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and similar groups to those.

I think the reason we may accept this stereotype is the fact that this stereotype is portrayed on tv and the movies. Whenever there is an Asian character in a movie, television show, etc., the actor portraying the character may exemplify the American stereotype of the Asian character, at least physically. Most of the actors portraying this characters will have the stereotypical slanted eyes, jet black hair, and a lighter complexion. For instance, there was a made-for-tv movie about a Cambodian immigrant girl who had worked hard through school and eventually won the Scripps Howard Spelling Bee. The actors and actresses that portrayed her and her family were of the stereotypical “asian” look. I think that it’s because of this commercialization of the stereotype that it’s widely accepted. When Americans think “Asian” they automatically think typical chinese features. Although, this is changing, and that’s good becase there’s a lot of other Asian immigrant groups here and NONE of us really do look the same. All Asian ethnic groups have their own distinct features.
“Google Groups - MYTH: Asians have slanted eyes”

    Japanese vs.
    Chinese

  11. Snake Oiler Says:

tell you what, my eyes are getting so bad from reading all this white font on black background that everybody’s gonna look the same after a while; asian or other.

  12. Leaki Mouc mou Says:

I disagree, most people who say all asian look the same look at east asian. Southeast asian generally have darker skin, fuller lips somewhat larger eyes.

  13. Shift_Daddy Says:

well I think fedorpheux is losing the fight but keep it up it is making some very good bickering

  14. Fedorpheux Says:

I never lose a fight. Sometimes I just eventually give up…but I have not yet given up on this one and I don’t think I will any time soon.

I mean seriously…they really do look the same.

  15. penis Says:

asians look the same.my neighbors r both asian and i get them mixed up ALL the time…

  16. AZNSupermodel Says:

This is BS. Fedorpheux is a racist even though he claims he’s/she’s not. Geez, it’s kind of obvious that he/she is by the tone of the messages.

  17. Anonymous Says:

everyone is racist to an extent whether subconsciously aware of it or not.

  18. quen Says:

everyone is a racist to an extent some obviously alot worse than others, but everyone is racist whether subconsciously aware of it or not.

  19. Babyface Says:

Why do Europeans all look the same?

  20. Babyface Says:

Why do Caucasian all look the same? Why do Africans all look the same? Why do Indians all look the same? Why do Hispanics all look the same?
Now, you will understand why Asians feel pissed when you say they all look the same.
Answer your question? Do you feel that we are racist now?
Ignorance….purely ignorance and lack of exposure to the other cultures.
